• Remembrance

  On Monday 11^th November we held a special Remembrance Worship in school. We watched a film about code breakers who worked during World War II and who work in code breaking now. We held a 2 minute silence and sang Peace, Perfect Peace. At the end of the worship each child stuck a poppy on a wreath, which were displayed in the hall. We have also supported the British Legion by selling poppies in school. 

• Church of the Ascension Whixley – Window Service

  The renovated window has now been reinstalled in Whixley Church and it looks beautiful. On Sunday 17^th November a commemoration service was held for the window. The choir sang two songs during the performance and six children performed a drama about the saints who are depicted in the window. Thank you to all the families who supported this service and well done to the choir members!
