  On Tuesday 21^st May PCSO Phil Wright visited us in Collective Worship to talk to us about Road Safety, the importance of thinking and how we might be distracted.

• Scarecrow Festival

  On Sunday 19th May the FOGHS team organised our second Scarecrow Festival with a theme of Heroes and Villains. It was a fantastic event where families and visitors followed a trail around the many scarecrows, voted for their favourites and enjoyed refreshments and games in Whixley and on the school field. Thank you to FOGHS for all of their hard work. 

• Christian Aid Assembly

  On Thursday 9th May Rowena and Michael from Christian Aid came to talk to us about the theme of Christian Aid week this year. They talked about a project in Sierra Leone, which helps girls to have equal rights to education. On Monday 13^th May, Steph Cooper came to talk to us about Christian Aid week and told us about Kadiatu who dreams of becoming a doctor.
