Our new library
We are very pleased to announce that our new school library is up and running, in what was once the ICT suite. With the introduction of class Chromebooks, and PCs that were out of date and not functional, an ICT suite was no longer needed and so the decision to convert it into a library was made. Over the summer holidays, this open plan mezzanine space was enclosed and a new skylight window installed, and then just before Easter the local authority agreed to release some money to cover the majority of the cost of some new fitted library furniture. Not wasting any time, we had a company design and fit the new furniture just before the holiday. The children are really enjoying visiting and learning in this new space and we hope it will spark a real love of reading.
